Bible Verses That Students Should Consider

The following verses are part of a long list that guide those associated with Teachers In Service and the teachers, schools, and mission agencies they serve. Teaching children of missionaries is significant and contributes to Christ's Great Commission. MK schools need dedicated, quality teachers who feel called by God and who want to serve Him in this way. Please consider these verses and the level of significance of being called by God to serve Him as a teacher of missionary children.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded of you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the lamb. . . (Revelation 7:9a)

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. (John 15: 16a)

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, (Ephesians 1:11)

However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who live him"--but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. (1 Corinthians 2:9-10)

And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, (Ephesians 1:9)

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, (Ephesians 1:18)

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. (Colossians 1:9)

As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit, just as it has taught you, remain in him. (1 John 2:27)

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. (Psalms 32:8)

so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ. (Philippians 1:10)

and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength. (Ephesians 1:19)

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. (Hebrews 12:1)
