Money management while in college
Many prospective MK teachers who are either still in college or have recently graduated find the repayment of their education loans to be a deterrent to going to the mission field. This is unfortunate since many will never end up going. They take a teaching job in the US, get married, start a family, buy a house and pretty soon their dream of being a teacher of missionary children is history.
Fortunately, there are web sites to provide information about reducing the costs of going to college.TIS is working on a program (Project EdSend) in which individuals would contribute to monthly repayment of college loans.
Please review the following web sites for information about reducing the costs of going to college.

(If you know of other sites related to money management for college students please contact us. This is a serious issue and college students need all the information they can get so they can make responsible decisions about the misuse of credit cards (huge problem!), money in general, getting into debt (including loans for education), and how it affects their going to the mission field.)
